We have just been advised that a road closure has been scheduled within our area, as detailed below.
Location: C548 Hockey Hill, Wetheringsett Cum Brockford – full extent
Date & Time: Monday 27 April 2026 (10am-2pm)
Please note that while the road closure times are as stated above, it’s likely that the teams on site will not be present for the full duration. All works will be carried out within the timeframe stated.
Reason for Closure: Road repairs
Access Arrangements: Access and egress will be maintained where safe and possible to do so. Please speak to a member of staff on site. Through traffic will need to follow the diversion route In place.
Diversion Route: Cedars Hill, A140 and vice versa.
Apologies have been given for the short notice provided for these works, apparently this was due to the nature of the works and the road closure application process.
Updates regarding this road closure will be available via Suffolk Highways on X and on One.Network.
