The Parish Council is the most local level of government and exists to represent the interests of the community. It plays a vital role in:
- Reviewing and commenting on planning applications
- Managing and maintaining local amenities
- Supporting community events and initiatives
- Representing the parish in discussions with district and county councils
- Ensuring transparency and accountability through regular meetings and published minutes
We meet monthly, and residents are always welcome to attend or raise issues for discussion. Your voice matters — the council is here to work on behalf of the whole community.
The Parish Council is made up of elected councillors and a Parish Clerk who manages administration and acts as a point of contact. Councillors are local residents who volunteer their time to serve the parish.
